Wild Boar ~ Confrontation (contrary)

Today our message comes from faithful Buffalo and contrary Wild Boar, who tells me that procrastinating and putting off tasks we do not enjoy will get you nowhere. He says that we may be stuck, unwilling to move forward because there is some unpleasant or uncomfortable task that must be completed first and we have been unwilling to confront that task. This could be giving notice at your current job that you are looking for other employment or are plannint to quit so you can pursue self-employment, it could mean having a heart-to-heart conversation with someone close to you discussing how their putting your dreams down hurts you, it could mean ending friendships or distancing yourself from people in your life who do not support you, or it could mean finally cleaning and decluttering your home or office so you can become more productive. Whatever it is, it is time to be completely honest with yourself and face those challenges head on. Ask Wild Boar and the angels for help cutting the ties that are holding you in place. Ask for the courage needed to complete the tasks at hand so that you can move forward into a brighter future filled with joy and abundance!

If Wild Boar has appeared in the contrary position, this could be a warning. Because you have been unwilling to confront some challenge, situation, or feeling, it is about to explode in your face. It could be time to evaluate any avoidance mechanisms. Denials can vanish when you confront them with unflinching honesty. If some lie is present, now it is time to come clean with yourself or another. Have you dishonored yourself by breaking a trust? Be strong and make amends. If you do not believe that you are brave enough to confront your mistakes or denials, quit lying to yourself and acknowledge the authentic power of the honorable self within.

Remember, you can call upon Wild Boar to help cut through feeling of helplessness or weakness. Those sharp tusks can cut to the heart of the matter and reveal the valiant warrior self that you may have unwittingly abandoned.
